On August 25, 2020 by SheilaWe had a short layover in Paris early in the morning. Really, we had just enough time to sleepily walk from our arrival gate to our departure gate. Along the way, we had to stop and ogle all the goodies in the few shops that were starting to open.
At the time, Deanna loved Kinder Surprise eggs. Being in Europe, they were everywhere. So, we stopped into one of the shops and picked up a pack of eggs to go. On the way to our gate, we also spotted Ladurée. I got a small box of macarons to go for myself. Ben stopped for his morning coffee. Once we each got our little goodies for ourselves, we headed for the gate. They had already started boarding when we dragged ourselves and our bags aboard.
This was a short flight to Milan. Since Ben had not gotten much sleep on the flight across the Atlantic, he grabbed some uncomfortable shuteye. Deanna broke into an egg. I broke into my macarons.
One international country down, one more to go!
